Bringing the big screen to the dorm room!
As the oldest student television show in the country, Sneak Peek is dedicated to providing the audience with the latest reviews, film news, and much more.
Working as a writer, editor, and associate producer for the Sneak Peek writing team, I edited weekly scripts, wrote and edited reviews and blog posts, and pitched topics and content during weekly writing meetings. Whether it was examining the top 5 films made in Austin, reviewing the latest hits such as Captain Marvel, or working with alumni in the film world to showcase their latest projects, the copy for Sneak Peek had to be fast-paced, adaptable, and accessible enough for those who were not an expert in the film world.
As a script supervisor, this was my first foray into the field of live-action content, which I quickly learned required a very different voice than a print ad or email campaign.
